Cloud technology is a relatively recent technology that has proved to be applicable in many facets of society. Companies have utilized this technology not only in business-to-business relationships, but business-to-consumer relationships as well. In fact, cloud computing is so applicable that a multitude of industries currently utilize the technology; these industries range from the obvious, such as software, with companies like Amazon and Microsoft being some of the more notable ones, to the more surprising, including construction – as construction companies utilize cloud technology in order to gather and have access to data about construction sites at any given time – hospitals, which frequently use cloud technology to store documents, and financial organizations – as these organizations frequently use cloud technology for, among other things, their email.
